DescriptionIn 1928, the Austin Branch Library was relocated to a building at 5615 West Race, which was renovated in the late 1970's. The Henry W. Austin Branch's facade includes a semicircular arched doorway in the Greek and Roman tradition with mullioned windows flanked by four Corinthian columns. Pictured here are the "Friends of the Austin Branch Library" standing at the building's majestic entrance. Black and white photo, 8 x 10 in.
