Police Station
TitlePolice Station
DescriptionAfter Lake View Township was annexed into the city of Chicago in 1889, the previous Lake View Town Hall became a station of the Chicago Police Department. The Town Hall was demolished in the early 20th century, but the site remains the property of the Chicago Police Department. In the photograph, the Town Hall Police Station stands on the corner. The photographer stood on the northeast corner of Halsted and Addison Streets and looked across the street at Police Station.
