Description"Let's eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we must eat again!" These were the words of Mayor Harold Washington when he acted as the Grand Marshal of the "Taste of Chicago" Parade on June 28, 1987. This marked the opening of one of the country's largest food festivals with 86 restaurants, 20 corporate sponsors, and 14 radio stations participating.
