| Description | An aerial view of the BP Bridge as both the eastern and western approach ramps are under construction. The Bridge's concrete was supplied by Elliot Construction Corporation of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and, as is evident from this photograph, the Bridge's complex radiuses and curves going in many directions tested the workers. A central pier, which will help support the bridge, is under construction in the median strip of Columbus Drive. |
