| Description | Close-up view of waterproofing uncovered when Daley Bicentennial Plaza was excavated. The Grant Park North Garage is located beneath the Daley Bicentennial Plaza. Because the Bridge's structure bears down on the garage structure, it was necessary for some of the work to be done at the level of the garage roof. Issues were discovered with the waterproofing which was by then over thirty years old, and minor repairs were made. |
