Jay Pritzker Pavilion, stage, June 30, 2004
TitleJay Pritzker Pavilion, stage, June 30, 2004
DescriptionThe finished stage and choral terrace of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. With two weeks until the official opening of Millennium Park, the stage and choral terrace of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion is complete. The stage is large enough to accommodate 120 musicians and 150 choral performers in one of the most acoustically-engineered outdoor, live-music venues in the world. Every surface and shape on the stage, much of the surrounding headdress, and the graceful trellis arching over the Great Lawn all work together to make a performance at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion a superior audio and visual experience for the spectator.
