DescriptionLooking north toward the Pavilion at night as it was illuminated in blue during a lighting test. The ribbons and the headdress of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion are even more dramatic at night when they are illuminated with an elaborate lighting system. Theater consultants and lighting designers Robert Shook and Duane Schuler developed the permanent lighting system, adding to the artistry of the structure.
