| Title | Jay Pritzker Pavilion, steel skeleton, ca. August 26, 2002 |
| Description | Looking northeast toward the construction site as the steel skeleton of the Pavilion takes shape. The Jay Pritzker Pavilion shares some common space with its neighbor to the north, the Joan W. and Irving B. Harris Theater for Music and Dance. The two venues are back to back, the Harris Theater fronts onto Randolph Street and is largely below ground, yet they share dressing rooms and storage space. This common-sense approach led to efficiencies though it complicated the construction process. |
