| Title | Crown Fountain, Jaume Plensa and Mark Sexton visit the site, April 6, 2004 |
| Description | Artist Jaume Plensa (left) and architect Mark Sexton view the north tower during Crown Fountain's construction. The north tower has been fitted with all but the last LED panel which will go behind the "gargoyle” nozzle, and the glass brick walls are partially installed. Two different types of glass bricks were used on Crown Fountain. Clear bricks were used on the inside face of each tower where optimum clarity was the goal, and stippled glass, which is more opaque, was used on the other three sides in an effort to conceal the innards of the towers. |
