| Description | Artist Jaume Plensa (left) and Alan Schachtman of US Equities Realty during a viewing of a full scale mock-up of the LED component of Crown Fountain at BARCO's Logan, Utah offices. BARCO, a global technology company, designs and develops visual solutions for a variety of different applications. BARCO manufactured the LED screens for Crown Fountain and supplied the software to operate the system. This computerized system coordinates all of the aspects of the fountain, including timing, selecting which faces will be shown, and regulating the "gargoyle” and cascade features depending on wind direction. |
