| Title | Crown Fountain, installation of granite tiles, March 18, 2004 |
| Description | Looking north toward granite tiles and exposed pipes at the base of the north tower during the construction of Crown Fountain. Horseshoe shims act as temporary spacers keeping the tiles separated during their installation. The tiles were spaced apart so that water could seep up through the seams from the reservoir below. Buildings visible in the background include the Chicago Cultural Center, formerly the Chicago Public Library, and the Smurfit-Stone Building. |
