| Description | A test-run of the reservoir portion of Crown Fountain before installation of the granite tiles. In the completed fountain, the black granite tiles of the reflecting pool are held in place 1/4-inch below the surface of a reservoir of water that is nearly two-feet deep. The north tower has been fitted with all but the last LED panel which will go behind the "gargoyle" nozzle. The structural steel of Cloud Gate is visible in the background, along with One Prudential Plaza and other buildings along East Randolph Street. |
