TitleCrown Fountain, water feature tests, August 25, 2002
DescriptionTesting the "gargoyle" feature of the fountain at Crystal Fountains headquarters in Concord, Ontario, Canada. The finished fountain is made up of two glass brick towers, facing each other across a reflecting pool. Each of the towers have 50 foot tall LED screens that show videos of the faces of Chicagoans. Every few minutes, the video faces' mouths open and water sprays from an invisible nozzle on the fountain, creating a "gargoyle" effect.
