Attendees included (clockwise, from left): Mark Sexton and Tom Jacobs of Krueck + Sexton Architects, Steve Kibbler of Halvorson and Partners Structural Engineers, a representative from the Richard Gray Gallery, Alan Schachtman of U.S. Equities Realty, artist Jaume Plensa, and Roark Frankel of U.S. Equities Realty. Ron Krueck of Krueck + Sexton Architects is visible in the background in shadow. Consultants and project leaders for the fountain met frequently in Chicago, and Jaume Plensa traveled from Europe several times a year to work on the project and view its progress.
