| Description | Looking northwest toward Cloud Gate. The sculpture was fully assembled by the end of June 2004, and was unveiled to the public the next month, although it remained incomplete until it was fully welded, ground and polished nearly two years later. Buildings visible in the background include the 30 North Michigan Avenue building (also known as the Michigan Boulevard Building), the Heritage at Millennium Park, the Unitrin Building, the Smurfit-Stone Building, and Millennium Park Plaza. |
