| Description | Looking west toward Cloud Gate. This photograph was taken less than a week before Millennium Park opened. The construction of SBC Plaza is visible in the sculpture's reflection. The sculpture was fully assembled by the end of June 2004, and was unveiled to the public the next month, although it remained incomplete until it was fully welded, ground and polished nearly two years later. |
