| Title | Cloud Gate, transportation study, Millennium Park, ca. August 21, 2002 |
| Description | Looking north across Millennium Park at the area that would later become the Chase Promenade. This is one of a series of photographs that follow the intended route the sculpture was to take from the Queen's Landing at Monroe Harbor, north along Lake Shore Drive, west on East Monroe Street, and north through Millennium Park to SBC Plaza. The plan to move the fully assembled sculpture from a barge in Monroe Harbor to Millennium Park was cancelled when it was decided that the sculpture would be trucked to Chicago in pieces, and assembled on site. |
