The monument was designed by architects David Dillon and Michael Patrick Sullivan of O'Donnell, Wicklund, Pigozzi & Peterson (OWP/P), based on drawings for the original peristyle by Edward H. Bennett. The new peristyle is fifteen percent smaller than the original to accommodate the construction of a ramp for accessibility. |
