DescriptionColumns and scaffolding at the Millennium Monument at Wrigley Square during construction. The monument is a modified replica of an original by Edward H. Bennett which stood at the same location. Built in 1917, the original peristyle was torn down to build the Grant Park Garage in 1953. Bennett is also famous for designing Buckingham Fountain and coauthoring the 1909 Plan of Chicago with Daniel Burnham.
