DescriptionBroadway Street, flashlight photo of completed excavation for 10 foot sewer under Broadway ready for the bricklayers to start work at midnight. The lower half of the excavation is in clay and the upper half in wet sand, which is supported by five sets of 6 x 4 inch maple cants. The end of the three-ring 10 foot brick sewer finished the preceding day is shown. This is 1268 feet south of the center line of Leland Avenue, February 18, 1927
