DescriptionBerteau Avenue, view looking east toward outfall, showing excavated trench for 14 1/2 x 10 1/2 foot concrete sewer, steel set for invert pouring and water standing in bottom of trench, part of which is through an old fill. The first 1, 000 feet of this sewer was constructed across the Lake View Brick Company property between California Avenue and the North Shore Channel on an easement which had been granted the City, above ground, November 2, 1930
