DescriptionThe World's Columbian Exposition ran from May 1 to October 30, 1893. Festival Hall, also known as Choral Hall, was located near the lagoon between the Horticultural and Transportation buildings. Outside there were statues of Handel and Bach; inside was a large performance space that could hold a 2, 500-person chorus. Bolotin, Norman and Christine Laing.
