Description	Blueprint map. A review of the Fair's passenger launches occurred three months before the dedication of the buildings in October 1892, and almost ten months before the formal opening of the Fair on May 1, 1893. Each of the seven passenger launches carried World's Columbian Exposition committee members on a tour of the fairgrounds from the canal opposite the Manufactures and Liberal Arts Building to the Lagoon and Wooded Island, and finally to the Grand Basin.
